Come aboard One World and have the adventure of a life time! She is a custom built 64' brigantine schooner and is the smallest tall ship in the world. You will have an opportunity to get sailing experience, relaxing hammock lounging time and snorkel beautiful living reefs. You will also get to see some of the most beautiful undiscovered beaches and islands this world has to offer.
Hundreds of years ago histories notorious pirates sailed the waters of the San Blas/ Kuna Yala Islands and they’ve changed little since. Now its your chance to see the beauty and freedom they experienced and do it aboard a ship that has an old world style, built new.
The San Blas/ Kuna Yala Islands are a series of 365 islands of which only a handful are inhabited by the fiercely independent Kuna Indians. The Kuna Indians run all the islands as an autonomous province with minimal interference from the national government. They have maintained their own economic system, language, customs and culture. Aside from the rich culture you will get to immerse yourself in, the area is surrounded by reefs that are some of the oldest living in the world, and offer wonderful snorkeling opportunities.
From the islands we continue following the path the pirates took, sailing to Cartagena, one of the most fortified cities in the Spanish empire, and now a major tourist destination.

Activities aboard One World:
Rope swing off the yard arm: Entertainment for hours! We use some of the rigging to create an awesome rope swing that launches you off the boat and into the cool blue waters of the ocean!
Snorkeling: San Blas is home to some of the worlds oldest living reefs and is an awesome snorkeling destination. One World comes equipped with snorkel gear in most sizes, but feel free to bring your own.
Games: One World is well stocked with board games and fun activities to play with large groups.
Beach bonfire: One night during the tour (season and weather permitting) there is a beach bonfire and cook out.
Camping: Along with the bonfire there is optional camping afterward. One World has lots of camping gear so the whole group can sleep a night on one of the islands!
Exploring the islands: Hike through the tropical landscape of the San Blas! meet the Kuna indians and explore this remote tropical paradise.
Yoga: We do yoga in the morning and we do it on board! This proves to be a little more challenging than yoga on solid ground. The yoga we do focuses on increasing your balance by incorporating the moving boat. We also have a beach yoga routine that reconnects you to nature and increases flexibility and focus.
Learning how to sail: Over the duration of the trip you will have ample opportunities to learn some aspects of sailing and achieve a working knowledge of sailing a gaff rigged brigantine schooner. (An unusual sail rigging!)
Fishing, Spear fishing and Lobster snaring: One World has two spear fishing poles and there is a lot of time to explore the waters of the San Blas and try your hand at sneaking up on a fish! We also troll for fish while under sail.
Art and Photography lessons: Get some tips and tricks from our resident professional photographer about photography and have a chance to let your inner creativity soar by doing art in an environment that encourages and nurtures the artist within.
Knot tying and Weaving: The crew has extensive knot tying skills and is more than willing to spend some time teaching the art of knots to anyone interested in this old school sailors past time.
